I’m welcoming this spring (and all of the mud & cleaning that comes with it) with open arms. After a long winter and a big step back from social media, I feel more prepared for a change of seasons. I took a break from Instagram to remove the stress of the world around us and to focus on my own home and family without distraction. Instagram doesn’t feel the same anymore with the mess of current events, opinion wars, constant ads, REELS, etc.; it’s starting to feel like a game with too many rules and I have no interest in playing. Being away from it all has felt very rejuvenating & very productive! I pulled up a spring cleaning checklist the other day while the sun was shining, the windows were open, and the weather felt warm & inspiring: I had already done so much cleaning & completed so many organization projects around the house during the two weeks prior, that I started off with a list full of checkmarks.
This “break” has actually resulted in a lot more work accomplished, but somehow, significantly less stress. I found so much peace & simplicity in letting go of the problems of the world (so out of reach & out of my control) & focusing solely on what I can control and how I can contribute to a brighter future; my work as a mother & homemaker.

So for now, this is where you’ll find me hiding out & sharing more in-depth.
