Exciting news!!! We recently broke ground on our home addition & renovation! (And it was A LOT of ground; a great room, a new kitchen, a master suite, a mudroom, a laundry room, a 3 car garage, & a full basement including the kids’ rooms, bathrooms, and a living room. Whew.) We’re so excited to be working with our good friends at Elevate Builders and can’t wait to see them work their magic & turn our farmhouse dreams into reality!

Our friends at Fuhr Trenching are currently doing the dirty work: they’re digging the big new basement next to our little 1800’s cellar. I know that moving the dirt is not the prettiest part of the project, but I could stare at it all day! It has been such an exciting start! As I was trying to wrap my mind around it all, looking the giant hole in the ground and the plan on paper, I began to feel a little disconnected (visually) from the end-result. I turned to my Pinterest boards, organized my thoughts & ideas, and created these vision boards for each room of the house to keep us on the right track as we move forward.
